A New Atlantic 21 Lifeboat

A new Atlantic 21 lifeboat was handed over at Queensferry, Firth of Forth, on August 29, 1981. The gift of Major Basil R. F. Mac Nay in memory of his mother, Mrs Constance MacNay, she was received on behalf of the RNLI by Mr W. F. G. Lord, vice-chairman of the Executive Committee of the Scottish Lifeboat Council. The ceremony over, the new At/antic took part in a winching exercise with an RAF helicopter.
