Wandering minstrels Ruth Cawsey and Carolyn Doorbar, clarinetist and flautist respectively, spent their days before Christmas raising £600 for the RNLI. They moved from pub to pub playing Christinas music to delighted customers. Both girls are accomplished musicians, Ruth being a student at Cardiff College of Music and Carolyn a teacher of the flute at Sidcot School.
