It was organised by Brian Sackett through the Chartered Building Societies Institute and had teams from local builders R. J. Barwick and Sons Ltd, the '69 Motor Cycle Club and Castle Harris Ltd. Steve Grant and Colin Danton received RNLI plaques for raising most sponsorship and the 25th Folkestone Scouts were rewarded for the most original entry.
