While on service to the coaster Heye P, wrecked at Prawle Point in severe gales last December, Salcombe lifeboat had to cut away her anchor. The anchor was later recovered by members of North East Essex and Ipswich branches of the British Sub-Aqua Club and given back to the station. It was accepted by (I. to r.)
