Twenty-six children, aged between eight and 12 years, from schools in Kuwait raised £820, half for Swanage lifeboat and half for RNLI funds, with a sponsored team swim. The children are all members of a swimming club run by Mr D. J. Hicks, headmaster of one of the schools, and the event was organised in just three days after a spur of the moment decision before the school holidays started.
