Coxswain John Petit of St Peter Port receives from HRH The Duke of Kent a third bar to his bronze medal; it was for the service to the Greek freighter Cantonad in last January's storms. John Petit has also been awarded the silver medal, for the senice to the oil rig Orion in 1979.
