Demonstrations included the capsize and righting of the RNLI's Atlantic 21 ILB. A British crew righted the boat first and then, after being instructed in the righting drill by Mike Butler of the RNLI Cowes base, a Dutch crew took over for the first time and, as can be seen, successfully righted the capsized boat. The crew, led by Skipper J. Flohil, came from Ouddorp where they man one of South Holland's three Atlantic 21s.
