Two by two they rode to the Young Farmers' Conference at Blackpool.
Members of the Norton and Gaulby Young Farmers' Club solved a transport problem and raised money for the RNLl as they went by organising a sponsored tandem ride to Blackpool. A cheque for £200 was later handed over to Leicester ladies' guild.
