Spring comes early to the Isles of Scilly and on March 4, St Mary's town hall was a blaze of colour for the ladies' guild annual flower show: Mrs Mary West, chairman, is seen with some of the many varieties of daffodil shown, together with mimosa, camellias, magnolia, frees/as . . . all grown on the the islands. All flowers are eventually sold, and £388.18 has been raised in five years for the RNLI.
