Boxmoor and Hemel Hcmpstead branch introduced an auction of small antiques into its annual wine and cheese party this year.

Eighty lots, ranging from antique candlesticks to sets of knives and forks, were put under the hammer by a local auctioneer to raise over £400. With a further £200 from admission tickets and a raffle, it was the largest amount ever raised by this branch in one event..
