It is with great sorrow that we announce the death early last October of Mrs. Osman Gabriel. Mrs. Gabriel was herself the generous donor of an Atlantic 21 inshore lifeboat, and it was in her honour that the second 37' Rother class lifeboat given by her husband, Major Gabriel, was named Mary Gabriel on May 2,1974. Already stationedstationed at Hoylake, Mary Gabriel will keep bright the memory of a very good friend of the lifeboat service..
