Mr. Edward Heath on a visit to the R.N.L.I, stand at the International Boat Show in London in 1968. A letter in his capacity as Prime Minister is reproduced on the facing page. Last year he was elected Yachtsman of the Year by the Guild of Yachting Writers. Mr. Heath's award was largely due to his victory in the 1969 Sydney to Hobart race.
