Swanage, Dorset - At 3.48 p.m. on 29th March, 1969, the coastguardreported that two girls were cut off by the tide below Old Harry rocks.

The life-boat Rosa Wood and Phyllis Lunn, on temporary duty at the station, was launched at 4.4. The tide was flooding. The two girls were picked up by the life-boat boarding boat and then taken aboard the life-boat. They were landed at Swanage, and the life-boat returned to her station at 5.5..
