Police Sergeant D. H. Carter and Police Constable A. E. Farley, of Bourne- mouth, have each received £5 under the terms of the Ralph Glister Award in recognition of their service in the Bournemouth IRB on 19th May, 1968, to a burning yacht. They saved three people. The award is made to the crew of an IRB who, in the opinion of the Committee of Management, carried out the most meritorious service of the year..
