As we were closing for press it was learnt that the R.N.L.I. has been granted an appeal on B.B.C. television on Sunday, 16th March, 1969, at 7.20p.m. This appeal will not be seen in Scotland but there will be a special Scottish appeal later in the year. The March appeal will, however, be transmitted to all other parts of the United Kingdom..
