Admiral Sir Angus Cunninghame Graham, K.B.B., C.B., has been elected a Vice-President of the Institution. He has been a member of the Committee of Management since 1953. In the same year he became a Vice-President of the Scottish Life-boat Council. He was Chairman of this council from 1963 to 1965.

His father, Commander Cunninghame Graham, was Chief Inspector of Lifeboats from 1894-1908.
