The life-boat Edward and Isabella Irwin, on temporary duty at the station, was launched at 1.55 in a fresh west north westerly breeze and a moderate sea. It was low water. The life-boat came up with the fishing boat Sea Venture of Immingham with four people on board and took her in tow to Grimsby, arriving at 4.45.
