on 4th November, 1967, the coastguard informed the honorary secretary that red flares had been sighted off Caldy. The life-boat Henry Comber Brown slipped her moorings at 1.44 in a moderate north easterly breeze and a slight sea. It was low water. The life-boat found the m.f.v.
