Redcar, Yorkshire - At 2.30 p.m. on 23rd November, 1967, the coastguard informed the honorary secretary that a cabin cruiser had broken down one mile east of the life-boat station. The life-boat Aguila Wren was launched at 3.10. It was shortly after low water.

In spite of dense fog the life-boat found the casualty, the cabin cruiser Dolores, carrying a crew of two, within half an hour and took her in tow to Hartlepool. The life-boat returned to her station at 7.15..
