Sennen Cove, Cornwall - At 10.20 a.m. on nth June, 1967, it was learned that a motor cruiser was in difficulties with engine failure near Cape Cornwall.

The life-boat Susan Ashley was launched at 10.31 in a light variable breeze and a smooth sea. The tide was ebbing.
