Redcar, Yorkshire - At 4.5 p.m. on 20th June, 1967, a fishing boat was reported to be in difficulties south east of Saltscar buoy. The life-boat Aguila Wren was launched at 4.15 in a west north westerly gale and a moderate sea. The tide was ebbing. The life-boat found the fishing boat Nellor with two people on board and escorted her to Saltburn beach.

A report was then received of another boat from Staithes in difficulties. A search was made but nothing was found. The life-boat returned to her station 6.15..
