Filey, Yorkshire - At 1.36 p.m. on I4th August, 1967, the coxswain informed the honorary secretary that the coble Angela May was overdue. In view of the deteriorating weather conditions the life-boat The ha & Penryn Milsted was launched at 1.52 in a strong south south easterly breeze and a moderate sea. The tide was ebbing. The life-boat found the coble with three people on board one and a half miles north east of Filey Brig and escorted her to Filey.
