Peel, Isle of Man - At 8.40 p.m. on I4th March, 1967, a fishing vessel which was drifting north east from the Peel breakwater was reported to be flashing a torch. The life-boat Helena Harris - Manchester and District XXXI was launched at 9.48 p.m. in a gale force south westerly wind and a rough sea. It was one hour after low water. She. proceeded to the position indicated and found the motor fishing vessel Manx Clover driftingas her engines had failed. The life-boat secured a line to the fishing vessel and towed her into Peel inner harbour. She returned to her station at 10.40..
