Sunderland, Co. Durham - At 8.19 a.m. on I7th March, 1967, the coble Girl Lynn was reported in difficulties in rough seas about two miles off Roker. The lifeboat William Myers and Sarah Jane Myers was launched at 8.30 in a gale force west south westerly wind and a rough sea. It was an hour and a quarter after high water. She found the coble in the position stated and escorted her into Sunderland.
