Silver Coquet , Provider
Amble, Northumberland - At 10.30 a.m. on ist December, 1966, two fishing cobles were reported overdue. Atn o'clock the Life-boat Millie Walton left her moorings. It was nearly low water. There was a rough sea and a southerly wind.
The Life-boat escorted the coble Silver Coquet into harbour and then proceeded to the coble Provider which was three miles south east of Coquet. She reached the Provider, which had three men aboard, at 11.45, and escorted her back to Amble. She returned to her moorings at 12.30 p.m..
