Oak Apple
Great Yarmouth and Gorleston, Norfolk - At 2.32 p.m. on I5th November, 1966, a distress signal was reported from a small boat which was about half a mile north north east of Gorleston pier.
The life-boat Louise Stephens was launched at 2.39 and soon came up with the small cruiser Oak Apple whose engine had failed. The life-boat towed the boat, with her crew of three, to Gorleston, arriving at 3.23..
