Rosslare Harbour, Co. Wexford - At 10.45 a-m- on 3rd September, 1966, a small boat was reported to be in difficulties two and a half miles east of the harbour. At 10.55 tne life-boat H. F.

Bailey, on temporary duty at the station,left her moorings. It was two hours after high water. The life-boat found the motor launch Carne with engine failure, and towed her to harbour. The life-boat returned to her moorings at 11.40..
