Cromer, Norfolk-At 8.15 a.m. on 5th August, 1966, owing to the deteriorating sea conditions, concern was felt for the safety of three crab boats still at sea. The No. 2 life-boat William Henry and Mary King was launched at 8.30 in a moderate to fresh west north westerly wind and a rough sea. She met the crab boats My Beauty, Autumn Rose and Lewis James, distributed life-belts to their crews, and stood by until the three boats were safely beached.
