Lady B.

At 4.24 p.m. on I2th August, 1966, a yacht was reported to have capsized about a mile and a half off Frinton-on-Sea. There was a moderate south westerly breeze with a corresponding sea. It was two hours after low water. The life-boat Edian Courtauld launched 10 minutes later and proceeded to the position given. She found the sailing dinghy Lady B. capsized with one of her crew sitting astride the boat. The other two members of the crew had been rescued by a motor boat. The man was taken on board the life-boat which, withthe dinghy in tow, returned to her station, arriving at 5.35..
