A Canoe
Droughty Ferry, Angus - At 12.20 p.m. on 3ist March, 1966, the coxswain saw a canoe with two persons on board being swept downstream. At 12.30 the IRB launched in a gentle north westerly breeze and slight sea. The tide was ebbing.
The IRB rescued the two persons and their canoe, returning to her station at 1.15 p.m..
