Humber, Yorkshire. At 11.55 P-mon gth February, 1966, the coastguard informed the coxswain superintendent that a trawler was aground near Spurn lighthouse and required assistance. The life-boat City of Bradford III was launched at 12.10 in a south by east gale force wind and a very rough sea, two hours before low water. The life-boat proceeded to the position of the vessel in distress and stood by until the trawler Northards refloated on the flooding tide and then took her in tow into Grimsby.
