LIFE-BOAT AT BAR At i p.m. on i8th November, 1965, the motor vessel Ocean Venturer was reported to be at sea in conditions which were deteriorating. The life-boat Mary Am Hepworth was launched at i .20 in a fresh easterly breeze and a heavy swell. It was one hour after high water. The life-boat stood by at the harbour bar while the Ocean Venturer made the difficult crossing and returned to harbour. The life-boat returned to her station at 3.15 p.m..
