Moss Rose
Flamborough, Yorkshire. At 11.40 a.m. on 2Oth October, 1965, the coastguard told the coxswain that the fishing coble Moss Rose was out in conditions likely to deteriorate. The life-boat Friendly Forester was launched in a strong southeasterly wind and a rough sea. It was three hours to high water. The life-boat went to a point five miles north-east of Flamborough Head where she found the coble. She escorted her back to the north landing, arriving at 3 p.m..
