DINGHY TAKEN ABOARD At 4.25 p.m. on 22nd July, 1965, a dinghy was reported to have capsized off the Cawsand. At 4.33 the life-boat Thomas Forehead and Mary Rowse put out. There was a light south-westerly wind, the sea was choppy and the tide was ebbing. The life-boat found the local sailing dinghy Undine off Picclecombe in tow of a motor boat. The Undine, which had capsized and broken her mast, was taken aboard the life-boat, with the man who had been sailing the dinghy. The life-boat returned to her station at 5.45 p.m. The man in the dinghy made a donation to the funds of the Institution..
