Kindly Light
Boulmer, Northumberland. A port was received at 10.23 a-m- on July, 1965, that the motor fishing vessel Kindly Light of Seahouses had broken down approximately two miles eastsouth- east of Boulmer. The life-boat Robert and Dorothy Hardcastle was launched at 10.58 in a light northerly breeze and a choppy sea. It was low water.
The Kindly Light with a crew of three was taken in tow and off Craster the tow was handed over to another motor fishing vessel from Seahouses. The life-boat returned to her station at 3 p.m..
