Zulu Warrior

Donaghadee, Co. Down. At 1.56 p.m. on 26th June, 1965, the coastguard reported that the trawler Zulu Warrior of Castleton had broken down 7 miles eastby- west of Donaghadee. There was a strong westerly breeze and a moderate sea. The life-boat Sir Samuel Kelly left her moorings at 2.9 one hour before low water, and found the trawler with a crew of three at 2.40. The trawler's engines had broken down and she was towed into harbour arriving at 4.30. The life-boat returned to her moorings at 5 p.m..
