The Coningbeg Lightvessel

SICK MAN LANDED At 11.40 a.m. on 2ist May, 1965, the honorary secretary received a message that there was a sick man on board the Coningbeg light-vessel. The life-boat Ann Isabella Pyemont was launched on the ebbing tide at 11.55. There was a strong southerly breeze with a corresponding sea. The sick man was taken aboard the life-boat at 1.20 p.m. and landed at Kilmore at 2.45. The life-boat returned to her station at 4 p.m..
