Filey, Yorkshire. At 9.40 a.m. on 2yth April, 1965, the coxswain in the absence of the honorary secretary decided to launch the life-boat to escort the fishing coble Peggy of Filey into the harbour because of the bad weather conditions. At 9.55 the life-boat The Isa & Penryn Milsted was launched on the flooding tide.
There was a strong northerly breeze and rough sea. The life-boat met the Peggy, escorted her back to Filey and reached her station at 11.15 a.m..
