DOCTOR TO LIGHTVESSEL Great Yarmouth and Gorleston, Norfolk. At 1.55 p.m. on 3ist January, 1965, the superintendent of Trinity House asked the honorary secretary for the use of the life-boat to take a sick man off of the Gorton Lightvessel. At 2.5 the life-boat Louise Stephens with a doctor on board was launched in a moderate northeasterly breeze and a moderate sea. It was one hour before low water. The life-boat embarked the patient who when landed was taken to hospital. The life-boat returned to her station at 4.2 p.m..
