At 2.5 the life-boat Louise Stephens with a doctor on board was launched in a moderate northeasterly breeze and a moderate sea. It was one hour before low water. The life-boat embarked the patient who when landed was taken to hospital. The life-boat returned to her station at 4.2 p.m..
