DOCTOR TO TRAWLER Padstow, Cornwall. At 12.35 a.m. on 3rd March, 1965, the honorary secretary was asked by Ilfracombe radio station to take a doctor out to the Belgian trawler Sanantonias to attend to two injured men.

At 1.20 a.m. the life-boat Joseph Hiram Chadwick proceeded with a doctor on board in a light northerly breeze and a slight sea to the trawler. The doctor went aboard the trawler and after examining the men found that there was no need to take them ashore. The doctor returned to the life-boat which arrived at her station at 3.00..
