In the period from Good Friday, i6th April to Easter Monday, 19th April, inclusive, there were twenty-seven launches by life-boats and eight launches by inshore rescue boats.

These services resulted in the saving of nineteen boats and sixty lives. Twentysix of the above launches were to yachts and other small pleasure craft..
