INDIAN SEAMAN At 12.45 a-m- on ist November, 1964, the honorary secretary heard that an Indian seaman on board a vessel anchored near the Bar lightvessel was in urgent need of medical treatment. There was a smooth sea with very little wind and the life-boat Norman B. Corlett left at i a.m. for Prince's Stage to embark a doctor. It was two hours past high water. On the way to the anchored vessel the doctor was passed over to the pilot launch which carried him' to her. The life-boat returned to her moorings at 1.45..
