The Coningbeg Lightvessel

WENT TO LIGHTVESSEL Kilmore, Co. Wexford. At n a.m.

on I2th July, 1964, the Irish Lights Office requested the use of the life-boat to bring ashore a member of the crew of the Coningbeg lightvessel who was ill. It was half-tide with a smooth sea and light westerly breeze. At 11.33 the life-boat Ann Isabella Pyemont was launched. The sick man was transferred to the life-boat, and taken to Kilmore quay. An ambulance carried him to hospital. The lifeboat reached her station at 2.15 p.m..
