TAKEN TO ROSSAVEEL At 2.40 p.m. on 28th September, 1964, the local district nurse requested the use of the life-boat to take an injured child to Rossaveel. No other boat being available, the life-boat Mabel Marion Thompson left her moorings at 3.30. There was very little wind and it was low water.
