Nancy
ESCORTED FOUR At 1.15 p.m. on i6th September, 1964, the coastguard told the honorary secretary that the small fishing coble Nancy was off Flamborough hauling her lobsterpots.
The wind at this time was blowing a near gale from the south-east and very rough seas were building up rapidly at the harbour mouth. It was high water when the life-boat Tillie Morrison, Sheffield II was launched at 1.45 to escort the Nancy into harbour. Three other fishing vessels appeared when this was completed and the life-boat escorted them singly into the harbour, returning to her station at 4 p.m..
