At 12.20 p.m. the Life-boat Cecil Paine was launched. After searching for nearly i^ hours the fishing boat Blanche was contacted about three miles east of Blakeney Overfalls. Her engine had failed so she was towed back to Wells with her crew of three. The lifeboat returned to her station at 3 p.m..
