Albatross
ANCHOR WAS DRAGGING Great Yarmouth and Gorleston, Norfolk. At 4.16 p.m. on 23rd August, 1964, the coastguard told the honorary secretary that a small longshore boat was in difficulties in the moderate seas and fresh south-westerly breeze just north of the harbour. At 4.20 the life-boat Louise Stephens was launched. She found the open fishing boat Albatross drifting with her engine broken down and her anchor dragging. She was taken in tow to the harbour and the life-boat returned to her station at 5.25..
