The Harbour Launch Pen-Cw

PROPELLER PROBLEM At 1.40 p.m. on loth June, 1964, the harbour authorities told the honorary secretary that the harbour launch Pen-Cw had fouled her propeller on a wire rope outside the north breakwater and was drifting on to rocks. In a moderate to fresh south-westerly breeze and a slight sea the life-boat Howard Marryat was launched. The tide was at low water. At 2.20 the life-boat reported having the launch in tow. At 2.45 she was alongside the harbour quay, and she reached her station at 3 p.m..
