YACHT AT STANDSTILL At 4.56 p.m. on 3ist May, 1964, the coastguard told the life-boat coxswain that a yacht was in difficulties outside Holyhead breakwater and at 5.15 the lifeboat St. Cybi (Civil Service No. 9) was launched. A gale was blowing from the east-north-east, the sea was very rough and the tide was three hours ebb. The life-boat found the yacht Sea Ranger broken down and at anchor near North Stack.
